Description
Olive d'Or is an international olive oil contest that complies with standards set forth by the International Olive Oil Council.
Olive oils are divided into three categories:
- light fruit flavour,
- medium fruit flavour,
- strong fruit flavour.
Winners in each category are awarded the following: Goutte d'Or, Goutte d'Argent and Goutte de Bronze.
Mrs. Christine CHEYLAN will preside over a jury of international experts.
A renowned expert in the field of olive growing, she has presided over several competitions throughout the world, most notably in France. Manager of an olive oil mill, she was awarded first prize in the Strong Fruit Flavour category of the Mario Solinas competition in 2006, and second prize in 2005.
